Job Description:

As an Associate, Client Service II at BNY Mellon, you will be responsible for addressing moderately complex day-to-day issues faced by external clients. Your role involves providing support to clients in resolving operational and technical issues efficiently, while ensuring their requests are met. Utilizing intermediate problem-solving skills, experience, and judgment, you will analyze information and deliver high-quality service to a specialized client base. Additionally, you will provide clients with information regarding BNY Mellon’s products and services across various lines of business and geographies, directing them to the appropriate resources when necessary.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with external clients to resolve moderately complex day-to-day issues and direct them to appropriate resources within BNY Mellon.
  • Address moderately complex operational and technical issues, ensuring client requests are executed promptly.
  • Utilize intermediate problem-solving skills, experience, and judgment to analyze information effectively.
  • Deliver high-quality service to a specialized client base using strong communication skills.
  • Provide clients with information regarding BNY Mellon’s products and services, representing multiple lines of business and geographies.
  • Monitor client inquiries, resolve non-routine issues, and escalate complex issues to the appropriate team members.
  • Contribute to business development efforts by leveraging knowledge of client issues and needs.
  • Participate in internal activities and initiatives aimed at improving the client experience.
  • Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • May have people management responsibilities in some geographies, providing guidance to less experienced team members.
  • Support multiple, moderately complex client accounts.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • 3-5 years of total work experience preferred.
  • Experience in an operational area and/or client services preferred.
