Who You Are:
You are a talented Oracle Pro*C and/or Oracle SQL Engineer to join our application development team. Responsible for designing, implementing, and deploying high-performance application code for high-volume real-time transaction processing.

What You’ll Do:

• Demonstrate technical expertise in SQL Server architecture and the Microsoft Windows operating system.
• Pay attention to detail in implementing changes, updates, and maintaining database security.
• Analyze performance metrics and logs to troubleshoot issues and optimize database performance.
• Efficiently resolve complex database issues.
• Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and management.
• Install, configure, and upgrade SQL Server instances according to best practices.
• Tune SQL queries, indexing, and implement best practices to optimize database and query performance.
• Design database schemas, create tables, indexes, and ensure the structural integrity of the database.
• Ensure the security of SQL Server databases, manage user permissions, and protect sensitive data.
• Implement robust backup strategies and disaster recovery plans.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as updating statistics, rebuilding indexes, and checking database integrity.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SQL Server, performance bottlenecks, connectivity issues, and data corruption.
• Anticipate future database growth and plan for infrastructure needs.
• Implement solutions for high availability and disaster recovery.

Qualifications:

• Experience related to migrations, especially OCI Migrations (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure).
• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
• 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Technical expertise in SQL Server architecture and the Microsoft Windows operating system.
• Attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving skills.
