Role Description
We are hiring a full-time on-site Legal Associate responsible for legal document preparation, analysis of legal issues, and effective communication. As a Legal Associate, you will work closely with our legal team to ensure compliance and provide legal support to the organization.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research on various topics related to company operations, industry regulations, and legal compliance.
• Draft and review contracts, agreements, and legal documents.
• Assist in the preparation and filing of legal documents with relevant authorities.
• Provide legal guidance and advice to internal teams on contractual matters, compliance issues, and risk management.
• Participate in meetings with internal stakeholders to discuss legal matters and provide recommendations.
• Assist in the resolution of legal disputes and claims, including liaising with external legal counsel/advocates.
• Keep abreast of changes in laws and regulations, updating internal policies and procedures accordingly.
• Support legal team in ad-hoc projects and tasks as needed.
• Draft legal notices and reply to legal notices.
• Reply to consumer cases and maintain records.

Qualifications

• Fluent in Kannada language (written and verbal)
• Good communication skills
• Logical reasoning and basic understanding
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law
• Enrollment as an Advocate in any Indian state is mandatory

Schedule

• Day shift, working days from Wednesday to Sunday; 6 hours per day
