Full Job Description:

Podar Education Network is seeking a Regional Purchasing Executive to manage end-to-end procurement processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in purchasing and vendor management, with excellent negotiation skills and the ability to maintain efficient procurement operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Negotiate prices with vendors to ensure cost-effective procurement.
• Identify and evaluate multiple vendors for the same product to ensure competitive pricing and quality.
• Maintain vendor and purchase order (PO) related data accurately.
• Plan material procurement to meet organizational needs efficiently.
• Ensure timely procurement of materials to maintain optimal turnaround times.
• Prepare budget sheets for procurement activities and track expenses.
• Implement cost reduction strategies to optimize procurement spending.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth procurement processes.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Minimum educational qualification: Graduate in any stream.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in purchasing and vendor management.
• Strong negotiation skills are essential.
• Proven ability to manage procurement budgets and reduce costs.
• Excellent organizational and planning skills.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and data related to procurement.
• Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with stakeholders.
