Responsibilities:
Communicating garment technical requirements to the design team
Developing detailed technical packages
Managing all woven design developments from graphics to final fabric
Expert in jacquard weaves
Technical expertise in woven textiles, cotton, blend, poly, silk, linen and terry
Thorough understanding of weaving, shrinkage, washing and other processing
Preparing tech packs with detailed information (Styles, trims, labels, colors, etc…)
Interacting with Design and Production teams
Maintain records on the server which will be easily accessed
Coordinating with weaving units in TN and other places
New weaves structures and quality development
Requirements:
Fluent in English and regional language
Able to pay close attention to detail
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work proactively, independently on multiple projects under tight time frames
Highly organized, flexible with the ability to adapt to a fast- paced environment
Experience with product development and sourcing is a plus
Experience with sustainable fashion practices is a plus
