Job Description: The Department for Transport is seeking a Systems Specialist – HR to join their Corporate Delivery Group – Group HR team. This role involves working with SuccessFactors and Concur systems to support the delivery and maintenance of HR systems, contributing to the transformation of employee experience for Civil Servants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert support and guidance on the management of SuccessFactors and Concur systems to users.
  • Act as second-line support, troubleshoot issues, and support continuous improvement and optimization of solutions.
  • Manage support cycles, patching activities, and testing, collaborating with stakeholders to build business cases for additional features.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and customers to maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance HR systems.
  • Act as a subject matter expert into the Unity Shared Services Programme when required.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Strong foundational knowledge and experience in maintaining and optimizing systems.
  • Ability to build strong working relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, problem-solve, and prioritize conflicting priorities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical information effectively.
  • Experience in configuring and maintaining cloud-based systems, preferably Concur and SuccessFactors.
