Responsibilities

• Provide counseling to students regarding academic, personal, and career-related matters.
• Assist students in setting and achieving their academic and personal goals.
• Conduct individual and group counseling sessions to address specific needs and concerns.
• Create and deliver presentations on various topics related to student welfare and development.
• Collaborate with faculty and staff to identify and address student issues effectively.
• Maintain accurate records of counseling sessions and student progress.
• Stay updated on current trends and developments in education and counseling techniques.
• Foster a supportive and inclusive environment for all students.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in relevant fields such as Psychology, Education, or Counseling.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in Kannada, Telugu, English, and Malayalam.
• Fluency in additional regional languages across India is highly desirable.
• Basic understanding of IT concepts and proficiency in Python and MERN stack preferred.
• Ability to quickly grasp new concepts and adapt to changing situations.
• Strong interpersonal skills and empathy towards students.
• Prior experience in counseling or working with students is a plus, but not mandatory.
• Passion for helping students achieve their full potential.
