Job Description:

As a Senior People Analytics Analyst at Avalara’s Pune office, you’ll operate within a hybrid model, collaborating daily with HR stakeholders across various domains such as compensation, payroll, benefits, talent acquisition, and learning and development. Your primary responsibility will be to understand and address their reporting needs. You’ll develop and maintain an extensive library of Workday reports and dashboards tailored to different organizational levels, including HR leadership and individual contributors. By leveraging workforce data, you’ll identify trends and insights crucial for strategic decision-making and organizational improvements. Collaborating closely with the HRIS team, you’ll ensure the accuracy, integrity, and security of data, while also delivering training sessions on Workday’s reporting capabilities to enhance user proficiency and system efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Engage with HR stakeholders across multiple domains to understand and address their reporting requirements.
  • Design and manage a comprehensive library of Workday reports and dashboards catering to various organizational levels.
  • Analyze workforce data to identify trends and insights that facilitate strategic decision-making and organizational enhancements.
  • Collaborate with the HRIS team to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and security of data.
  • Provide training on Workday’s reporting capabilities to enhance user proficiency and system efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in data reporting or management within the HR analytics domain.
  • Proficiency in Workday reporting and dashboard creation, with advanced skills in Workday Report Writer.
  • Ability to craft complex calculated fields, custom objects, and integrations within Workday.
  • Strong data visualization skills with experience in tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, capable of interacting across all organizational levels.
  • Proactive and detail-oriented with the ability to manage tight deadlines and prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
