Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Data Scientist with expertise in Generative AI to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should be curious, creative, and tech-savvy, with a deep understanding of statistics, mathematics, and algorithmic writing.

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Identification of Use cases:
   • Identify potential opportunities to apply AI to optimize business and spot the right use cases for applied AI.
2. Model building and algorithm selection:
   • Problem understanding, data collection, algorithm selection, model building, hyperparameter tuning, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring of models.
3. Cross-functional Collaboration:
   • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align generative AI solutions with business objectives.
   • Communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders regarding model outcomes and potential applications.
4. Research and Innovation:
   • Stay updated with the latest research in generative AI and propose innovative approaches to enhance model capabilities.
5. Ethical Considerations:
   • Implement ethical considerations in model development, ensuring fairness, transparency, and compliance with regulations.
   • Address and mitigate potential biases in generated outputs.
6. Documentation and Reporting:
   • Document the development process and prepare clear reports for technical and non-technical audiences.
7. Continuous Learning and Skill Development:
   • Pursue continuous learning opportunities and participate in skill-building activities.
8. Project Management:
   • Manage project lifecycle from scoping to delivery, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
9. Deployment and Integration:
   • Collaborate with IT teams to deploy models into production environments and integrate them into existing systems.

Skill Sets and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2 to 5 years of experience as a Data Scientist.
• Proficiency in machine learning, statistical modeling, and Natural Language Processing.
• Hands-on experience with large language and generative AI models.
• Strong communication and strategic thinking skills.
• Positive and proactive attitude toward problem-solving and teamwork.

Job Type: Full-time
Schedule: Day shift, Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate: Technopark, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
