Full Job Description:

Ovum Hospitals is seeking an experienced Public Relations Officer (PRO) to join their team in Bhattarahalli, Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in public relations within the hospital field and will be responsible for managing and enhancing the hospital’s public image.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement effective public relations strategies to enhance the hospital’s image.
• Manage communication between the hospital and its stakeholders, including patients, media, and the community.
• Coordinate and organize public relations activities and events.
• Handle inquiries from the public, the press, and related organizations.
• Prepare and distribute press releases, media announcements, and other communications.
• Foster positive relationships with media representatives and other external stakeholders.
• Monitor media coverage and report on public perception of the hospital.
• Address any public relations issues that arise promptly and effectively.

Qualifications:

• Minimum educational qualification: Any degree.
• More than 2 years of experience in the hospital field as a Public Relations Officer.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational and planning skills.
• Proficiency in handling media relations and public communication.
