Job Description

As a merchandiser for Kumbayah Foods, you will be responsible for planning and implementing strategies to promote and sell products in retail environments. Your primary goal is to increase sales and profitability by ensuring that products are displayed effectively and attractively in accordance with company standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Build rapport with customers to encourage loyalty and repeat purchases.
• Create visually appealing product displays that highlight key features and benefits to attract customers’ attention and drive purchase decisions.
• Monitor inventory levels and replenish stock as needed to ensure adequate product availability on the sales floor.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and consumer behaviour to inform merchandising strategies and tactics.
• Track and report on metrics such as sales performance, inventory turnover, and customer feedback to measure the effectiveness of merchandising efforts.

Qualifications

• Plus two/Diploma/Any business or marketing-related courses.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in languages: English, Malayalam, Kannada.
