Job Description:
General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) is seeking an experienced Operations Specialist to support Mission Command (MC) training teams at the Fort Bliss, TX Mission Training Complex (MTC). The Operations Specialist will serve as a recognized technical expert in the base labor category description.

Responsibilities:

• Provide operational, intelligence, and administrative planning support for the task order.
• Conduct capability briefings and demonstrations of various training systems and simulation capabilities for Mission Command Training audience, Senior Leaders, and Government-designated officials.
• Provide narration, equipment demonstration, and current exercise status.
• Manage event and administrative scheduling to support MTC operations.
• Provide quarterly and annual training summaries based on the Fiscal Year calendar.
• Develop technical and training solutions in support of Army mission command training, leveraging expertise in staff training best practices and information technology disciplines.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Management, Business Administration, or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Experience: Five (5) years on a US Military staff (Battalion or higher), three (3) years in management of projects, programs, or sites of similar size, scope, and complexity.
• Physical Security background or experience preferred.
• Security Clearance: Secret required to start.

Desired Skills:

• Location: Fort Bliss, TX MTC. Normal work schedule is 0730-1630, may require night or weekend work shifts depending on specific training event requirements.
• Travel: Less than 10% expected.
