Job Description:
JP Housing Corporation is seeking a proactive and versatile Office Assistant to manage a combination of Human Resources responsibilities and office administrative tasks. This role involves supporting recruitment, onboarding, employee benefits administration, office procurement, and vendor management. Proficiency in MS Office tools is essential for this position.

Roles & Responsibilities:

HR Related Functions:

  • Assist with recruitment efforts, including screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and onboarding new hires.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
  • Administer employee benefits programs such as health insurance, provident fund, and leave records.
  • Provide general HR support to employees, addressing inquiries and resolving basic issues.

Office & Purchase Assistant:

  • Manage office supplies, equipment, pantry items, and office stationary, ensuring timely reordering and maintenance.
  • Research and source purchase items from vendors, negotiate pricing, create purchase orders, and manage deliveries.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with vendors, ensuring timely deliveries and effective communication.
  • Handle administrative duties like filing, correspondence, and scheduling meetings for senior management.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements for Managing Director and VPs, including flights, hotels, and transportation.
  • Research and purchase construction materials (tiles, cement, steel, etc.) and office supplies according to organizational needs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (Preferred).
  • 2+ years of experience in Microsoft Office and office administration.
  • Proficiency in Kannada and English (Hindi is preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of search engines for vendor research and procurement.
  • Ability to commute/relocate to Bengaluru.
