Your mission will be to:

  • Provide sales, cross-sell, and up-sell recommendations to potential clients
  • Review and complete insurance needs analysis and provide insurance recommendations
  • Assist clients in enrolling for life, accident, and sickness insurance products
  • Review insurance enrollments and processes to ensure adequacy and accuracy
  • Ensure appropriate policy requirements are fulfilled and submitted
  • Adhere to privacy, insurance, and other financial services regulations and procedures
  • Escalate issues, concerns, and trends to business management

Requirements:

  • Hold a Life, Accident & Sickness license in Canada (Mandatory)
  • Provide proof of having passed the “Ethics & Professional Practice (Common Law)” course
  • Hold a License in Insurance of Persons in Quebec (Asset)
  • Hold Licenses in other provinces (Asset)
  • Satisfy Continuing Education requirements
  • Flexible working hours: from 10 am to 9 pm Monday to Friday and from 10 am to 6 pm on Saturdays
  • Be perfectly bilingual in English and French, both written and spoken
  • Have experience in insurance needs analysis and providing suitable recommendations or solutions
  • Be self-confident, friendly, high energy, enthusiastic with strong interpersonal skills
  • Previous experience in the financial services industry (Asset)
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Understanding of Life, Health, and Sickness Insurance products as well as marketing trends
  • Proficiency in PC skills (MS Office: Word, Excel, Internet, Email)
  • Ability to handle challenging situations with customers
  • Problem-solving and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality
  • Post-Secondary degree or equivalent business experience
  • Strong sales, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Have the ability to connect directly to your modem and access to Internet connectivity with minimum download and upload speeds of 60Mbps
