About the Job:
Grace Supermarket is currently seeking an experienced HR Manager to join their team. The HR Manager will be responsible for managing recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and employee well-being within the retail environment. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience, with a strong background in retail HR practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment and Sales:

  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent for various positions within the supermarket chain.
  • Coordinate advertising efforts across multiple channels to ensure maximum visibility of job openings.
  • Conduct thorough interviews to assess candidates’ suitability for roles within the retail environment, focusing on both sales and operational requirements.

Employee Relations:

  • Foster positive relationships between management and employees, ensuring open communication channels and a supportive work environment.
  • Address employee concerns and conflicts promptly and professionally, promoting resolution and maintaining a harmonious workplace.

Handling Employee Grievances and Complaints:

  • Act as a mediator in resolving employee grievances and complaints, adhering to company policies and legal regulations.
  • Conduct investigations into employee concerns, providing fair and impartial resolutions.

Performance Management:

  • Develop and implement performance management systems to monitor and evaluate employee performance.
  • Provide guidance and support to managers in conducting performance reviews and setting objectives for employees.

Employee Well-being:

  • Implement initiatives to promote employee well-being, including health and wellness programs, employee assistance programs, and work-life balance initiatives.
  • Monitor employee satisfaction levels and identify areas for improvement to enhance overall well-being within the organization.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in HR management, with a focus on the retail sector.
  • Proven track record in recruitment, employee relations, and performance management within a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Strong understanding of relevant employment laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with various stakeholders.
