Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome members and guests as they enter the gym.
- Provide information about gym services, membership options, and class schedules.
- Assist with membership sign-ups, renewals, and cancellations.
- Address and resolve customer inquiries, complaints, and issues promptly and professionally.
- Answer phone calls and respond to emails.
- Schedule appointments for personal training, classes, and other services.
- Process payments, manage cash handling, and maintain accurate records of transactions.
- Ensure the front desk area is clean, organised, and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Maintain member records and update information as needed.
- Assist with administrative duties such as filing, data entry, and reporting.
- Coordinate with other staff members to ensure smooth operations and effective communication.
- Monitor the gym floor to ensure equipment is being used safely and properly.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness throughout the facility.
Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in customer service or front desk operations, preferably in a gym or fitness environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and handle a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills and familiarity with gym management software is a plus.
- Positive attitude, professional demeanour, and a passion for fitness.
