Role Summary: As an Education Support Administrator, you will play a crucial role in providing administrative support for students and staff within the School of Education. You will handle a variety of administrative tasks related to teaching and learning activities, including student recruitment, admissions, timetabling, attendance monitoring, and examinations. Additionally, you will be responsible for event planning and delivery to enhance the curriculum and student experience.

Main Duties:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for students, staff, and external providers, addressing queries and issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Provide administrative support for various teaching and learning activities, such as recording student attendance and assisting with exam preparations.
  • Communicate important information to stakeholders regularly and accurately.
  • Assist in planning and organizing events to enrich the student experience.
  • Utilize University systems to manage and interpret data, producing reports as needed.
  • Contribute to program/module reviews and evaluation processes.
  • Participate in the review and improvement of administrative processes and procedures.
  • Provide secretarial support for relevant committees and meetings.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications, Experience:

  • Professional experience in similar roles.
  • GCSEs in English and Mathematics (or equivalent).
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in using IT systems and databases.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work confidentially.
  • Experience supporting committees in a secretarial capacity.
  • Understanding of equality and diversity principles.
