Job Description:
As a Data & Insights Analyst at Visa, you will be responsible for building, scaling, replicating, automating, and driving efficiencies for faster delivery and output of dashboards designed by regions. You will create and present analytic deliverables to external Visa clients, regional colleagues, and other internal stakeholders with varying degrees of analytical and technical expertise.

Responsibilities also include gaining an understanding of root problems, defining analytical objectives, formalizing data requirements, combining and analyzing disparate data sources, deriving insights in a Big Data environment, facilitating the overall analytic delivery strategy, comparing client performance against industry best practices, and developing presentations of complex data and content for clients.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with an advanced degree or 3 years of experience in data engineering analysis and/or insight delivery with a proven record of creating business value using data.
  • A 4-year college degree in a quantitative field.
  • Proficiency in manipulating data from a variety of sources, including Big data skills (Hadoop, Hive, Spark), SQL skills, Unix/Shell/Python scripting, and exposure to scheduling tools like Oozie and Airflow. Machine learning skills are a plus.
  • Experience visualizing data with tools like Tableau; advanced Tableau skills are highly desired.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in all MS Office applications with advanced Excel spreadsheet skills.
  • Visa experience or knowledge of the payments industry is a plus.

Additional Information:
This is a hybrid position, allowing employees to alternate time between remote work and the office. Hybrid employees are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week, with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs
