As a Compliance Auditor specializing in Medical Coding at Yitro, you will be responsible for planning and conducting audits related to clinical and administrative processes, including coding and billing compliance, documentation, and adherence to regulations. Your role involves preparing audit reports, communicating findings, and implementing corrective action plans.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and conduct audits for clinical and administrative processes, including coding and billing compliance.
• Develop audit reports with findings and recommendations for corrective action plans.
• Stay updated on medical documentation, fraud, abuse, and coding violations based on governmental guidelines.
• Review medical records to determine the accuracy of coding, billing, and supporting clinical documentation.
• Ensure implementation and effectiveness of corrective actions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration, or healthcare-related field required.
• AAPC Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or AHIMA Certified Coding Specialist Physician-based (CCS-P) certification required.
• Certified Professional Medical Auditor (CPMA) certification preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in healthcare compliance.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and communication skills.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Knowledge of federal and state regulatory requirements, including HIPAA.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work well in a team and manage priorities effectively.
• Proficiency in computer software tools.
