Job Summary:
NHS Birmingham and Solihull Integrated Care Board is seeking a Clinical Advisor – Dental for a part-time role. The successful candidate will provide clinical advice to support the effective delivery of commissioning and contract management of dental services.
Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical advice on contract management, quality of services, risk management, and patient safety.
- Support commissioning team in delivering statutory and regulatory duties.
- Assist in strategic workstreams such as dental strategy implementation.
- Interpret complex data and assure framework outcomes.
- Liaise with the CQC regarding patient safety concerns.
- Support procurement processes related to dental services.
Qualifications:
- Clinical experience in dental services.
- Ability to provide clinical advice on contract management and regulatory matters.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret complex data.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of procurement processes is desirable.
