Description:
As a Certified Pharmacy Technician at Costco Wholesale, you will assist pharmacists in filling and dispensing prescriptions for customers. This role involves various tasks such as updating patient records, processing prescriptions, and providing excellent customer service.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Update patient profiles and enter prescription information into the pharmacy computer system.
• Fill prescriptions under the pharmacist’s supervision, including counting, pouring, labeling, and pricing medications.
• Assist customers at the counter, retrieve filled prescriptions, and process payments.
• Order, receive, tag, and stock prescription drugs and supplies according to established procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy area.
• Process invoices and make accounting entries using the computerized system.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Pharmacy experience
• NC Board of Pharmacy Registration
• PTCB or equivalent national certification

Schedule:

• 24-40 hours per week
• Shifts may include weekdays and Saturdays, with no Sundays
• Typical start time: 11:00 AM
• Typical end time: 7:30 PM

Experience:

• Pharmacy technician experience: 2 years (Required)

• Day Shift (Preferred)
• Night Shift (Preferred)
