Responsibilities

  • Assist the School Director with daily administrative tasks, including scheduling, correspondence, and record-keeping
  • Maintain student records, attendance, and enrollment information accurately and confidentially
  • Handle phone calls, emails, and other forms of communication, ensuring timely and appropriate responses
  • Support the recruitment, training, and onboarding of new staff members
  • Assist in organizing staff meetings, professional development sessions, and other events
  • Coordinate staff schedules and classroom assignments
  • Serve as a point of contact for parents, addressing inquiries and concerns with professionalism and empathy
  • Assist in organizing and communicating school events, parent-teacher conferences, and other activities
  • Monitor and manage school supplies, equipment, and facilities to ensure a safe and effective learning environment
  • Assist in implementing and maintaining school policies and procedures
  • Coordinate with external vendors and service providers as needed

Requirements

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Passion for Montessori education and a commitment to the school’s mission and values
