Responsibilities
- Assist the School Director with daily administrative tasks, including scheduling, correspondence, and record-keeping
- Maintain student records, attendance, and enrollment information accurately and confidentially
- Handle phone calls, emails, and other forms of communication, ensuring timely and appropriate responses
- Support the recruitment, training, and onboarding of new staff members
- Assist in organizing staff meetings, professional development sessions, and other events
- Coordinate staff schedules and classroom assignments
- Serve as a point of contact for parents, addressing inquiries and concerns with professionalism and empathy
- Assist in organizing and communicating school events, parent-teacher conferences, and other activities
- Monitor and manage school supplies, equipment, and facilities to ensure a safe and effective learning environment
- Assist in implementing and maintaining school policies and procedures
- Coordinate with external vendors and service providers as needed
Requirements
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
- Passion for Montessori education and a commitment to the school’s mission and values
