Job Description:
Avantika Wellness Pvt Ltd is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced professional to join as an Accountant & HR. This role involves managing payroll, employee records, benefits administration, financial reconciliation, and HR functions.

Responsibilities:

Payroll and Accounting:

  • Ensure timely and accurate submission of timesheets by employees.
  • Maintain payroll records including PTO, vacation requests, bonuses, taxes, and salary modifications.
  • Process bi-monthly or monthly payroll payments using payroll software.
  • Reconcile monthly and quarterly accounts, review financial reports for accuracy.
  • Prepare financial statements (balance sheets, cash flows) for senior management.

Human Resources:

  • Implement and manage HR policies and procedures.
  • Manage recruitment processes, from resume screening to conducting background checks.
  • Maintain employee records, update HR databases.
  • Manage employee benefits and compensation packages.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to employees.
  • Resolve employee relations issues and conflicts.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
  • Prepare and present HR-related reports to management.
  • Manage employee separation processes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Business Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in payroll, accounting, or similar positions.
  • Working knowledge of accounting standards and practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, Quickbooks, Xero, Sage), Excel, and MS Office.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in HR or a related field.
  • Familiarity with HR-related laws and regulations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and prioritize tasks effectively.
