The Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) is inviting online applications for the recruitment of Constable/Tradesman positions, specifically for Barber, Safai Karamchari, and Gardener roles. This opportunity is open to both male and female Indian citizens, including subjects of Nepal and Bhutan. These positions are classified as Group C Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial, and are initially on a temporary basis with the potential for permanency.

The online registration for ITBP Constable Tradesman 2024 will commence on July 28, 2024, and will close on August 26, 2024.

Job Duties:

The primary duties of a Constable (Tradesman) in the ITBP include:

Performing general law enforcement duties, such as patrolling borders, responding to calls for service, and apprehending criminals
Maintaining the security of border areas
Providing humanitarian assistance to citizens in border areas
Conducting physical training and drills
Maintaining weapons and equipment
Participating in community outreach programs

Job Requirements:

To be eligible for this position, you must meet the following requirements:

Be a citizen of India, or a subject of Nepal or Bhutan
Be between the ages of 18 and 25 years old
Have a minimum of 10th Class (Matriculation) Pass from a recognized board
Have 02 years work experience in respective trade (OR) 01 year certificate from ITI / Vocational Institute with at least 01 year experience in the trade (OR)
