Job Description

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the notification for the recruitment of 8326 Multi-Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff (MTS) and Havaldar (CBIC & CBN) posts. The online application process will begin on 27th June 2024 and the last date to apply is 31st July 2024.

The educational qualification required for the MTS and Havaldar posts is Matriculation (10th Pass). The age limit for the posts is 18-27 years as on 1st August 2024. The selection process for the posts will be through a Computer Based Examination (CBE), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standard Test (PST) and Document Verification (DV).

The pay scale for the MTS and Havaldar posts is Pay Band-1 (₹ 5200-20200) + Grade Pay ₹ 1800.

To apply for the posts, candidates need to visit the official website of SSC and register themselves. The application fee for the posts is ₹ 100 for General/Open category candidates and Nil for reserved category candidates.

The CBE for the posts will be conducted in October-November 2024. The PET and PST will be conducted in January-February 2025. The DV will be conducted in March-April 2025.

The selected candidates will be appointed to various ministries and departments of the Government of India and their subordinate offices.
