Job Description:
Avantika Wellness Pvt Ltd is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced professional to join as an Accountant & HR. This role involves managing payroll, employee records, benefits administration, financial reconciliation, and HR functions.
Responsibilities:
Payroll and Accounting:
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of timesheets by employees.
- Maintain payroll records including PTO, vacation requests, bonuses, taxes, and salary modifications.
- Process bi-monthly or monthly payroll payments using payroll software.
- Reconcile monthly and quarterly accounts, review financial reports for accuracy.
- Prepare financial statements (balance sheets, cash flows) for senior management.
Human Resources:
- Implement and manage HR policies and procedures.
- Manage recruitment processes, from resume screening to conducting background checks.
- Maintain employee records, update HR databases.
- Manage employee benefits and compensation packages.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to employees.
- Resolve employee relations issues and conflicts.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
- Prepare and present HR-related reports to management.
- Manage employee separation processes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Business Management, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in payroll, accounting, or similar positions.
- Working knowledge of accounting standards and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, Quickbooks, Xero, Sage), Excel, and MS Office.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in HR or a related field.
- Familiarity with HR-related laws and regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and prioritize tasks effectively.
