Full Job Description:

• Account for coding and abstracting of patient encounters.
• Research and analyze data needs for reimbursement.
• Ensure that codes are sequenced according to government and insurance regulations.
• File and process all medical records correctly.
• Analyze medical records and identify documentation deficiencies.
• Serve as a resource and subject matter expert to other coding staff.
• Review and verify documentation for diagnoses, procedures, and treatment results.
• Identify diagnostic and procedural information.
• CPT certified coder.

Schedule: Day shift
Supplemental Pay Types: Performance bonus, Yearly bonus
Experience:

• Total work: 4 years preferred
• Medical Coding: 4 years preferred

License/Certification: CPC, CIC, COC preferred
